2025-2026 Oakcrest Elementary Theme

At Oakcrest, “rock and roll” means more than music—it’s about energy, teamwork, and enthusiasm! Our success comes from:

  • Rolling with Challenges: We remain positive and adapt when faced with difficulties.
  • Rock Solid Kindness: We support each other and build a caring community.
  • Rockstar Effort: We give our best in learning, leading, and helping others.
  • Rolling Out New Ideas: We’re creative, curious, and always ready to try something new.

Together, we “rock and roll” our way to success! - Oakcrest Rocks 25-26

Upcoming Events

Halloween Celebration at Oakcrest 2025

We are excited to invite you to our annual Halloween celebration and parade on October 31st at 9:30 AM. The parade will take place outside, and families are welcome to watch and cheer on the students!  See the attached map that will outline the parade route.

Costume Guidelines:

  • Students should come to school already dressed in their costumes
  • Facial paint is allowed as long as the student is easily recognizable
  • Masks are not permitted within the school premises to ensure that all students are easily identifiable. However, masks may be worn exclusively during the parade
  • Self-inflating costumes are allowed solely for the parade. Please ensure that the child brings extra clothing for the day
  • Weapons or facsimiles of weapons are not permitted with costumes

Following the parade, students will return to their classrooms for activities and treats. If you are interested in volunteering or sending in treats, please get in touch with your child's teacher.

Parents are welcome to observe from designated areas within the playground during the parade. Feel free to bring a chair if preferred. Please note that in cases of inclement weather, the parade for parents will be canceled.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us ensure a safe and enjoyable Halloween for all.

Best regards,

Janae Young / Principal
